Milan, Italy – During the opening ceremony of the Academic Year 2023/2024 held with a press conference at the auditorium of via Carlo Bo, IULM University bestowed upon Bruno Bozzetto the honorary Master’s degree in Narrative Arts. The ceremony was attended by the Magnificent Rector Gianni Canova, the Mayor of Milan Giuseppe Sala, the President of the Lombardy Region Attilio Fontana, and via video conference, the Minister of Education Anna Maria Bernini.

Following the ceremony, attendees had the opportunity to view Bruno’s latest work, the short film “Sapiens?”, which raises awareness about the themes of violence, reject diversity, and harm nature and animals.

“This recognition fills me with joy” said Bozzetto “It shows me that at my age, one can still create beautiful films. This one was crafted over a year and a half, with the collaboration of more than seventy animators, whom I am deeply grateful for. While I steer the ship to port, it takes the effort of everyone to succeed.
