Pino & Shinoby

Pino & Shinoby is an engaging preschool series that explores the cultural bridge between Italy and Japan through the eyes of its two young protagonists. The show follows Pino, a curious Italian boy, and Shinoby, a friendly young ninja, as they navigate daily life and discover that while traditions may differ, the emotional world of children is universal. 

Each episode begins with a familiar situation, such as a meal or a game, which serves as a gateway for the characters to transition between Italian and Japanese settings. Through a clean 2D animation style and “Kawaii” musical interludes, the series introduces young viewers to new languages and customs in a way that is instinctive, playful, and visually immersive.

The series is a prestigious international co-production between Studio Bozzetto and Japan’s YTV (Yomiuri Telecasting Corporation).
