Pescara, Italy – We are proud to announce that our series Pino & Shinoby has been honored with the prestigious MOIGE Award at the 30th edition of Cartoons on the Bay. The award ceremony took place on May 30th in Pescara.

Directed by Andrea Bozzetto and co-produced by Studio Bozzetto and Yomiuri Telecasting Corporation (ytv), the series was recognized for its meaningful approach to cross-cultural storytelling for young audiences.

The jury awarded Pino & Shinoby with the following motivation:

«…for being able to explain two different cultures to children, who are particularly sensitive to these issues and know how to look at them inclusively, showing them the subtle and, at times, invisible connections between different identities, demonstrating the importance of intercultural dialogue and encouraging them to understand their roots by looking at them from a “familiar” universal perspective».

This recognition is a significant milestone for our studio and validates the collaborative effort with our Japanese partners to create content that bridges cultures and promotes inclusivity. We would like to thank the MOIGE jury and the entire international team who brought this project to life.
